Andrew Pierce, Ashley Hudson and the Hamburg community knew that they would never go back. Ashley was just 17 years old and never been with a man before, so they took it slow. The love was apparent from the their first meeting. Andrew asked for Ashley on New Year's Eve right prior to the start of the year in 2016, praying that God would give him the last blessing of this year. Then, Ashley would get married to him. Ashley had always wanted the wedding with a folk-inspired wooden theme, as it represented Andrew along with her. They incorporated their favourite things for the wedding. The location was the 40 acres back of land Ashley was raised on. Ashley and Andrew been exploring, played and explored the entire path that led to the place where they said "I will" to Ashley. Andrew and Ashley had also walked the area multiple times before they began dating. The couple performed the majority of the DIY work, so personalization is important. Andrew's dad and Ashley as well as Ashley created the wedding ceremony arch and the arches for the seats. Ashley made and painted some of the decorations for the wedding. Ashley states that we could not have had the magical wedding I envisioned if it wasn't for Anna's floral design. Simply stunning.
